CTC channel website wins the Runet prize for 2014

November 26, 2014 - CTC Media Inc. (“CTC Media” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ:CTCM), a leading Russian independent media company, today announced that its CTC.ru, CTC TV Channel website received the Special Runet Prize in the “Health, Entertainment and Recreation” category at the 11th grand award ceremony for the best Russian websites in 2014, which took place on November 25. Prizes for contributions to Russian Internet development were awarded for six primary and three special categories.

In 2014, the CTC channel website became one of the leading media websites in the Russian television industry with over 4 million unique monthly users. Page views reached 30 million – an increase of 30% compared with the previous year.

During premiere season, the website receives more than 500,000 unique daily users. All new shows are now available on CTC.ru following initial broadcast, causing video viewing on ctc.ru to nearly triple compared to 2013.

In addition to having an extensive archive of CTC programming, the CTC website also features additional online-only content associated with the network’s TV programs, including interviews with actors, behind-the-scenes photos and videos, competitions, quizzes, and much more.
