CTC Media recognized as socially responsible employer

Moscow, Russia — December 25, 2014 — CTC Media (NASDAQ: CTCM), the leading independent media company in Russia, today announced that it was among the winners of the “Socially Responsible Employer” competition held by Moscow’s publicly funded City Center for Professional and Career Development. The field of competitors comprised major Moscow companies that had implemented professional career guidance programs for high school seniors.

CTC Media Company was declared the winner in the “creative approach” category for its active participation in the continuous career guidance program for students of a number of Moscow educational organizations.

In 2014, CTC Media employees held a series of workshops within the First City Forum, called “Career Startup,” which was organized by the Moscow Department of Education. CTC Media worked with the Department to prepare future employees in the media and communications industry.

Oleg Kuzmin, Deputy Director General for Strategic Communications, stated, “By creating and developing the career guidance program, CTC Media is helping to foster the growth of bright students and prepare them for a career in media and communications. Our work with younger students is one of the stages of the talent pool development program, and we will continue developing programs not only for elementary age children, but also for high school students.
