CTC Love Celebrates One Year on the Air

Moscow, Russia — February 16, 2015— CTC Media (NASDAQ: CTCM), a leading Russian independent media company, today announced the one-year anniversary of the launch of its new channel - CTC Love. The channel, which targets young audiences, launched on February 14, 2014. CTC Love offers some of CTC’s best programming, including “To Not be Born Beautiful,” “Ranetka,” “Father’s Daughters,” and “Margosha,” among others.  

Over the past year, CTC Love has demonstrated impressive audience growth, taking .78% of share among audiences aged 11-34 as well as over 1% of women aged 11-34.

Currently 55.8% of the Russian population can access CTC Love. The CTC Love channel has over 120,000 average monthly online visitors and over 500,000 followers on social media.

In April 2014 CTC Love became available through most major cable and satellite television operators. CTC Love is included in programming packages available through most major operators, including Tricolor, Orion Express, NTV +, Rostelekom, ER Telekom, MTS, Bilain TV, Megafon, Akado and Transtelecom as well as through most regional cable networks.

The channel reaches over 90% of households in Moscow, with practically all residents of the capital enjoying access. The channel’s reach expanded to over 70 Russian cities in May 2014, including major cities such as Saint Petersburg, the Moscow area, Astrakhan, Barnaul, Bryansk, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Murom, Nakhodka, Nevinnomyssk, Novokuznetsk, Orenburg, Pyatigorsk, Rostov-on-Don, Ryazan, Rybinsk, Samara, Stary Oskol, Syktyvkar, Tolyatti, Tyumen, Ufa, Chelyabinsk and Yaroslavl.

In October 2014 CTC Love received the “Golden Ray” award for “most colorful start.” The Golden Ray awards honor Russian-language thematic channels broadcasted through cable and satellite platforms both in Russia and abroad.
