CTC Media and Magnit retail chain announce increased cooperation as part of loyalty program

Moscow, Russia — September 21, 2015 — CTC Media (NASDAQ:CTCM), a leading independent Russian media company, and the country’s largest retail chain Magnit have announced the start of the second stage of cooperation as part of the customer loyalty program under the brand of the “Kukhnya” (Kitchen) series.

The second stage of the loyalty program coincided with the premiere of the new “Kukhnya” (Kitchen) season in September. 

The cooperation between CTC Media and the Magnit retail chain began in April 2015; the promo event covered 4,850 stores of the chain. 

Due to the success of the first stage, it has been decided to continue the cooperation between the companies and launch the second loyalty program under the brand of the “Kukhnya” series. The promo event began to cover more regions, and now 6,500 Magnit stores are taking part in the program all over its geographical coverage.

” The slogan “Kukhnya Recommends” and the characters of the TV series are used on POS materials of various formats (price-tags, posters, toppers etc.) in the Magnit stores participating in the promo event. As part of the promo event, a special promo-site www.thomasmagnit.ru has also been launched to familiarize customers with the conditions of the event and participation in its additional contests. 

Buying goods at the Magnit stores from September 7 through December 31, 2015, customers will still be given stickers that they can then exchange for branded goods for free, or buy them at a good discount. 

The program is implemented by the largest international company TCC Global, which is the international leader in this sphere.
